Self-harm is a coping mechanism that many people use in an attempt to deal with difficult emotions or situations. For me, it was a way to feel something when I'd been numb too long. After years of work, I finally reached a point where I was ready to let go of self-harm. It wasn't easy, but I'm so glad I did. If you're struggling with self-harm, know that there is hope and there is help available. You are not alone.⁣
