When I first got told this was chronic, I misunderstood it as being "this severe". At the time I was very much in the darkest of places. Scared all the time. I just wanted to hide in my room.
In time I realised that although it was life long, it doesn't mean severe.
Sometimes we're stable and can do as much as most. Sometimes we're depressed and can't do much. Sometimes we're hypomanic and can do 2 or 3 times as much.
I spent a number of years deeply depressed and anxious. Traumatised by my first major episode. Glimpses of normality here and there but a huge percentage of the time severely depressed.
After learning a load and getting my psychology straight, I now accept it. With that we're able to move onto - what are we going to do about it?
I liturally went to everything that was offered by our national health service, read books, watched videos and listened to audios. I guess it was in a way resistance of what is.
Although there isn't a cure, there are certainly mindsets and strategies that can help.
Would you be interested in a video course containing the best of what I've learned? How about a platform specifically for people effected by Bipolar? I'm developing one and it's awesome!
Give me a follow. That way you'll know when they're ready.
