I find it helpful to remind myself of this during difficult moods. Particularly when I have an important task on and my mood is low.
One thing I like to do at those times is to fast forward in my mind until I'm looking back at the completed task. Get in the feeling place of having done it. Imagine it so vividly that it feels like it's done. I find this technique can give me focus and energy, when I'm feeling stuck.
