Riding Bipolar
Sometimes I just can't hold good opinions about myself. That tells me I'm in a mood swing of some sort. It tells me that I can't be paying any real attention to my thoughts.
At those times I'm continually distracting myself from the mental noise to something in the present. Well, when I notice the noise. For a while I'll be totally in it.
As far as I'm concerned, to focus on the noise that my mind comes out with is to waste valuable energy and time. Well, when in various moods at least.
So presence in this way is to preserve energy for something more worthwhile. Something wanted.
